Overview

Italy's IFP Idromeccanica Forani & Pecorari have been producing bronze seawater pumps for over 50 years—designed specifically for commercial fishing vessels and workboats.

Their range includes self-priming centrifugal and turbine (peripheral) pumps for engine cooling, bilge, deck wash, fire-fighting, and wastewater handling. Most models are available as close-coupled motor units (primarily 3-phase AC), with 24V DC variants available in smaller sizes.

The lineup also includes bare-shaft pump heads (for PTO drive), versions with manual or electromagnetic clutches, and hydraulic motor-driven pumps.

Capacities include self-priming pumps up to 2½" bore (max. 90 m³/h) and centrifugal pumps up to 5" bore (max. 500 m³/h). Bronze 3-way and right-angle SDNR valves and accessories are also available.
